My Castle

Welcome to My Own Little Castle. It is definitely not perfect, nor never will be. What with three kids, a dog and a husband they make it nearly impossible. It doesn't have that decorator look to it, but it is a work in process. Most things in here don't match from the light fixtures, to the cabinet pulls, to the faucets and even the door knobs. Yes, we bought it this way and it drives me nuts! Buying it is another story...involving my husband house hunting and me only seeing pictures of it until we moved in. He did great, but I will definitely be there the next time. In fact, I told him I get to pick out the next house. Men just seem to over look too many things. Things that drive me batty. The yard is great, the size of the house is great though broken up a tad weird, the back deck is great, but they seemed to over look many things when doing the inside. Such as putting padding down under the carpet, anything matching in the house (refer back to light fixtures, door knobs, cabinet knobs, no towel bars, and their love of hunter green etc). But one thing is certain it is ours and we love it. God has truly blessed us with our first home.
